Grabu releases a new work with Picap: 'time and again'

Arnau Grabolosa (Grabu) is a Catalan musician and composer who, at only 21 years old, already has a long career in the world of music. The mix of ingredients such as minimalist and careful electronics with touches of jazz has allowed Grabu to express his purely instrumental imagery through songs that travel and ramble about topics such as death, anguish or love.

During the last two years it has grown within the Catalan scene in different disciplines. He became known as the creator and director of the Mússol Festival, a solidarity festival where great artists such as Amaia, Núria Graham, Meritxell Neddermann and Mushkaa, among many others, have performed, and which has allowed him to work with the entire Catalan music industry. Currently, he is also a musician for bands such as Guillem Gisbert, Llum and Júlia Blum, among others.

'blast' was his debut album, which was nominated for Best Catalan Album of the Year by Radio 4, and the presentation tour made him travel to more than 50 festivals and venues, and he even shared the bill with artists such as Rosario Flores, Jorge Drexler, Kenny Garret or Paul Anka.

Now, Grabu releases a new work with Picap record label: 'time and again'. This album is a deep dive into the universe of electronica that captures the complexity of time and its intersection with nostalgia and family. With evocative melodies, the album guides us through an emotional journey, exploring the way memories mix with the present and how the passage of time transforms us.

'time and again' is the second album by Grabu, which is increasingly evolving towards minimalism, but always maintaining its characteristic and unique essence that, without a doubt, catches you.
