After leading Rosa Luxemburg, Pol Fuentes started a solo career characterized by auteur pop in which he recreates a very personal universe. At the moment, he already has two record references, his last proposal was 'Black Saturn', a conceptual album presented as a board game expressing how interesting life would be if it were not linear: if they could go disorderly alternating episodes of childhood, youth, maturity and old age.
Now, Pol Fuentes presents his new album 'Arcàdia', an album and at the same time a beautiful life preserver in the middle of a shipwreck. An album that talks about a breakup, but instead of dealing with it from the point of view of fights, betrayal and possession, it talks about evolution and how, tearing the couple apart, you can achieve a more alive love. It was written while he was separated from the mother of his child and they were trying to invent, by touch, a new way of being a family: an Arcadia. At the same time, the Catalan artist was the victim of a surreal scam that was about to end his adventure of more than twenty years making music.
'Arcàdia' are emotions and experiences expressed through poetic images and the author's pop that so characterizes Pol Fuentes. Through these images and music, by the hand of producers Bernie Sànchez and Iban Rodríguez, this album is a journey through jealousy, through forbidden desires, through fights that no one wants and through the hope of a better future after of the storm
